News Letter 24/07/2013

Sut Mae Pawb,
Thanks to Chrissy for leading the joint walk with the Tiger Bay ramblers,I've heard good reports, and thanks to Emyr for running last weekends trip to Swanage,I've heard any reports, maybe what goes on in Swanage stays in Swanage! If anybody is thinking of running a trip don't be shy in coming forward, these trips are great fun but need people to be prepared to run them, and there are plenty with experience to lend a hand if needed..

This week Graham leads us on a walk around Nant-y-Moel and Tonypandy - 28th July

This is an adventurous and challenging walk involving some steep ascents, tricky descents and minor, uneven paths. It would be a good training walk for those going to Austria. Features of interest include glorious views of the Rhondda and Ogwr Fawr valleys, a hillfort and a guaranteed icecream stop with one of the best views in Wales (in my opinion anyway!)

Distance - 11 miles

Difficulty - Strenuous

Meeting Point - Civic Centre Swansea at 9.30 or start point at 10.30. To meet at the start point, call Graham for details on 07770 435341
