Tawe Trekker Newsletter 12 December 2012

Hi all,

This weekend's walk on Sun 16th December sees the SOGs & Tawe Trekkers joining up for the Xmas Walk in Bethlehem.

So join me & Emyr for a 7 mile, moderate walk as we lead the merry group onto the iron age hill fort of Carn Goch, through the wooded area of Pentre Bach & stroll along the green lane running alongside the hill of Trychrug. Hope to have outstanding views of the Towy as well as Carn Goch from Bwlch Y Gors.

Plus there'll be an opportunity to join in with the carol singing, drink one or two (or more) mulled wines & eat a few hearty mince pies. So please bring along some Xmas treats!

Meet @ 9.30am @ Old Swansea Baths Car Park (adjacent to the Slip).
Alternatively meet at 10.30am @ Carn Goch Monument Car Park nr Bethlehem (from Llandeilo, pass Bethlehem school & post office, then immediately turn next right & follow brown signs to Carn Goch monument). GR SN 682 242 (Brecon Beacons Explorer Map OL12)

If you need anymore info please let me know

Festive cheers!
