Sunday 15th April - Brecon Beacons - Carmarthen Fan

Doug leads a high-level walk up the escarpments of the Carmarthen Fan - a vast ridged range amongst mountainside lakes.

Distance: 7.5 miles

Difficulty: moderate / strenuous

Start point: County Hall at 9.30am or at the start point by Llandeusant at 10.30am. If you wish to meet at the start point please contact Doug on 07766652837.

Following the successful beyond the Void tours in 2008-2009, mountaineer Simon Yates, is back on tour promoting his new book,The Wild Within.Simon is one of the world's most prolific mountaineers of his generation. He is best known for being the climber forced to cut Joe Simpson's rope during their fateful descent of Peru Siula Grande - a story retold in Joe's best selling book the BAFTA award-winning film,Touching the Void.
