A Wander Near Whitland – Sun 18th March
Graham leads a surprise route from the historic town of Whitland, some 15 miles west of Carmarthen and near the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. Whitland takes its name from the Cistercian abbey in the medieval period. The monks wore unstained white woollen cloaks, hence the name of the Abbey - "White Land".
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 10 Miles
Meeting: At County Hall in Swansea at 0930, or the start point at Whitland at approx 1030. If you wish to go straight to the start point please contact Graham first.
