Garw Valley Walk - Sat 18th Sept

Back from the Bavarian Alps, Dave leads a walk in the slightly more tame environment of the Garw Valley (near Maesteg). There's one steep climb but it's worth it for the spectacular views which extend to Cwm Ogmore, Cwm Llynfi, Swansea Bay and Pen-y-Fan.

Distance: 8 Miles

Difficulty: Moderate

Meeting: 0930 at County Hall in Swansea, or 1015 in the Sainsbury's Carpark at the Sarn (Bridgend) turning of the M4. Dave will meet us there and show us to the start point.

Pub Night @ the Brunswick

Germany Pics

Dave organised an amazing trip to the Bavarian Alps which a few lucky Trekkers and Black Country walkers returned from yesterday - tired, but it's fair to say, exhilarated. The literal highpoint of the trip was the Zugspitze; the highest point in Germany with a peak of almost 3000m (10,000ft) in altitude - nearly 3 Snowdons!
