Graham leads this walk which sees us exploring Mynydd Drummau - the hillside between Neath and Swansea. It is a figure of eight walk starting at Neath Abbey and passing through the outskirts of Birchgrove and Glais.
Features of interest: Absoluntely stunning views over Swansea and Neath valleys and Swansea Bay, woodland nature reserve, remains of iron works and a Cistercian Monastery.
Distance: 8.5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate. One very steep climb but otherwise fairly gentle gradients
Start time: 0930 at small car park in front of library at the civic centre/County hall
