Around Llanharan - Sunday 28th February

This walk takes us into the hills North of Llanharan. The area comes highly recommended by our very own alpine guide and celebrity chef, Mr David Horton! Highlights include sweeping views, a ruined church, some old Macdonald style farms with very varied livestock, abandoned mines and a close encounter with some wind turbines.

Distance: 7 miles

Difficulty: Moderate. Generally pretty easy but one or two steady climbs.

Likely to be boggy and slippery in places.

Meeting Point: 9.30am by Civic Centre (County Hall) Swansea or 10.15 at Llanharan station. Please advise Graham if travelling direct to start point (07770 435341).
