Sirhowy Valley Walk - Sun Nov 8th

Sirhowy Valley Country Park is in a wooded valley near Crosskeys in Gwent.

9.30 at County Hall, 10.40 at the start point - call me for details if going straight there.

8 miles, moderate due to length and a couple of steep bits, but generally very straighforward.

It's a circular walk and the colours are wonderful at the moment.

(Photo shown is one that Babs took while doing the recce, autumnal colours look lovely).

Caroline's Sponsored Silence

Here's a message of thanks from Carloline's friend, Maria, following Caroline's charity sponsored silence...

"It's very difficult to find the words to express gratitude for the money you gave so generously. You've made us feel that we're not alone, that people think about what we're going through and are doing what they can to help. Our lives are now about building happy memories as a family, and the £200 raised bought a chicken coop and chickens which bring us huge pleasure every day. You have given us that - thank you.."
