Parc Cwm Darran & Cefn y Brithdir - Sun 12th April

Christian leads this walk which begins beside an attractive man-made lake in Parc Cwm Darran, a tranquil country park tucked away in the Darran Valley, two miles north of Bargoed. The route climbs through forest established on the site of a former coal tip before breaking out onto the high, open ridge of Cefn y Brithdir.

Difficulty: Easy

Distance: 6 Miles

Meeting: County Hall at 0930, or the carpark at Parc Cwm Darran Visitor Centre at 1030.
