South Gower: Penmaen, Reynoldston and Cefn Bryn - Sun 12th Oct

Christian leads the way on this delightful walk for all Gower lovers. Starting off in the village of Penmaen, the walk takes in sand dunes, woodland tracks, a clifftop path and an amble along Cefn Bryn ridge which affords panoramic views across the sea. Our valiant efforts will then be rewarded by stopping off at the King Arthur in Reynoldston for some liquid refreshments.

Difficulty: Easy

Distance: 7 Miles

Meeting Points: 0930 at County Hall or 1000 at the National Trust Carpark (free) at the foot of Cefn Bryn by Nicholaston.

Contact: Christian on 07791089942 for more details.

Alex and Rebecca's 'House Cooling' Party - Sat 11th Oct

Alex and Rebecca are trading the lovely ugly town for the dreaming spires of Oxford and will be moving in the next few days. Although this will be a great loss to Swansea, we'd like to wish them the very best for the future. Alex has been offered a lectureship at Oxford University and he just couldn't turn it down!

If you would like to bid Alex, Rebecca and Mark farewell, then they are having a 'house cooling' from 2pm at their soon to be vacated home in Brynmill on Sat 11th Oct (day before Christian's walk). Just drop in during the course of the afternoon.

I'm informed there'll be some nibbles and beverages.

For details and address give Rebecca a call on 07920030308.

That's it for another week. See you soon.
