Newsletter - Talybont Reservoir

Hi all,

Despite the worst weather on record, the Tawe Trekkers continue to walk on come rain or shine. Let's hope we have some good conditions on Sunday's walk around Talybont Reservoir!

This newsletter also contains a special invitation to all those who would like to come to Rob's stag do on Saturday night! Read on and all will be revealed...

Talybont Reservoir Circuit - Sun 22nd July

Jeez this is a bloody great walk. A bit different from our usual stamping ground, it follows a path round the Talybont Reservoir in the Eastern Brecon Beacons (pictured) and then trails around the spectacular ridges of Craig y Fan Ddu and Graig Fan Las. It's a fair trek at around 13 miles, but nothing too steep to tackle.

Here's the vital statistics:

Meeting Points: County Hall Carpark at 0930 or the carpark alongside the Talybont Reservoir at about 1030 (GR099197)

Difficulty: Moderate

Distance: 13 Miles

For more info give Doug a call on 07766652837.
