Unfortunately, the walk next weekend has been CANCELLED, due to circumstances beyond our control. Sorry about this, but if you are anxious for a walk this weekend, the West Glamorgan Ramblers have an 8 mile moderate walk on Sunday in Three Crosses meeting at the Joiners at 10:30 led by Gary Evans (01792 418572), also on Saturday the Llanelli Ramblers are having a walk around Blorenge Mountain at around 9 and half miles, you can call Jeff and Diana on 01554 773687 for more details. Also checkout the Tiger Bay Ramblers' website for their latest walks, so there is no excuse to sit in the house and be bored.

Click Here to Download an entry form.
Get your entry forms and fill them in and return them to the Gower Gallop c/o 35 Huntingdon Way, Tycoch, Swansea, SA2 9HN. The entry fees are £6.00 on the day, £5.00 before and £3.50 for the unwaged.
The Gower Gallop is a day of challenge walks with a choice of routes of various lengths. On each route participants must call in at a series of preset checkpoints on their way round. All routes offer walking in a wide variety of terrain, visiting major points in Gower such as Arthur's Stone, Rhosili Down, and Oxwich Bay. The routes finish where they start from with a well deserved cup of tea! The event has been running since 1993, and attracts walkers and runners from around the UK.
This year, there are three routes to choose from, 12.5, 20 miles and 30 miles, so choose your distance and enter. If you want further info on the event, you can give me a call on 07990 807510.

Lost Property
Our lost property department informs me that a posh Olympus digital camera somehow found its way into the wrong rucksack and has been returned to the walk leader. Possibly the owner put it in the wrong rucksack, or the owner of the rucksack inadvertently picked up the wrong camera. Don't know how it happened but give our Lost Property Manager(pictured) a ring on 07766 652837 to collect.
