Wondering how your going to burn off that extra nan bread, here's your answer,
Cyfartha Castle walk.
This
walk includes a “castle” built in 1824, a ruined castle (thought the
crypt stills exists and can be explored), an Italianate building, old
tramways, parts of the Taff Trail and Morlais Heritage Trail, woodland,
moorland and meadow along with river and reservoir.
It’s
a moderate 12.5 mile walk with 600 metres of total ascent and going up
to a maximum of 400 metres (so quite low really). We’ll linger a little
over the archaeological interest towards the start and crack on later.
Trainers with good sole will be okay if it has been dry before the walk
otherwise there will be some boggy bits.
