Sut mae pawb,

Thanks to Emyr for last weeks trip to the East.

After the success of our first evening walk get your bank holiday off with a bang by joining Robert as he leads us this Friday on a beautiful walk on the Gower, meeting at the Gower Inn at 19.30 the walk will take in woodland, coastal trails,Pennard castle and the Gower Inn.

On Sunday Andy Bevan leads us on a moderate 10 mile walk around Afan Forest, meeting at 9.30 at county hall.

Programme Meeting 7.30pm at the Vivian Arms in Sketty on Thursday. Contact Andy M on 07548 114 659 with any suggestions for walks if you're unable to attend. Please could all walk leaders try to have a small description of they're walk to help the programme sec and may it sound more attractive on the programme. It would also be helpful to know the distance from county hall to the start point so we can work out the cost per car. Big thanks to all of you who come forward with walks,as without you there would be no club.

News letter

Sut mae pawb,

Thanks to Andy for last weeks walk,I haven't heard any reports on the walk so hopping that's a sign the the new g.p.s. worked well rather than they're still out! Thanks also to Andy Martin for leading the first evening walk, there was a good turn out, eight people, and all had a good walk before retiring to the Bable Brook for refreshments.

This Friday we'll be meeting at the Pump house in the marina for our regular pub night, difficulty between easy and strenuous, depending on how close we sit to the bar!

Sunday Emyr takes us to Crickhowell for a walk in the Black Mountains.

That's enough exercise for the body,Tuesday why not give the mind a workout? Come and give the quiz team a helping hand,9 oclock at Westbourne.

The next programme meeting is fast approaching,so all leader's please have a think and try to get your plans together early and any knew leaders don't forget there are plenty of people to give you a hand if you need it,so give it a go,with no leaders we have no club!

If you don't want want to miss that flutter of excitement seeing the news letter appearing in you in box don't forget to check you membership is up to date or next weeks might be the last, and do you really want to have such a hole in your life?

Thanks to Trudi for a great walk on Sunday, and good to catch up with Andrea and hear about her new life in Germany. All finished off with a pint of Gower Gold, mmm.

What is that I hear you say,one walk in a week is not enough for you?Where can I find a walking group that has a summer evening walking program? Fear not Friday hails the beginning of our evening program, what better way to de-stress on a Friday than a short stroll followed by a quite pint?Andy Martin leads us on a walk at Port Talbot mountain, meeting point the Bagle Brook 7.30.
