Newsletter - Afan Argoed 10 miler

Just a short newsletter this week to give you the heads up on this weekends walk. The walk takes us east from Afan Argoed Country Park up towards the pass that overlooks the Rhondda Valley (maybe an Ice Cream if the van is parked there) and then south towards Bryn before heading back towards the country park for a cuppa. The walk takes on to open hill side and the opportunity to view the odd industrial relic.

We meet at 9:30 am at County Hall to get to the car park at 10:30 and even though the forecast is good, don't forget you wet weather gear as it could be perishin' on the hills out of the tree cover!

As always, dogs are welcome on my walks as long as you keep them under control.

Hope to see some of you there,

Rob

Newsletter - Additional walks and pub night

Hello there,
What's that I here you say, we are coming to the end of the current programme and no walks planned? No problems, we have some extra walks to carry us over 'til our committee get back from their foreign foraging forays. What they are foraging for, you'll have to ask them!

Pub Evening in the Brunswick.

With no walk planned for this weekend, we have the chance to get together in the Brunswick on Thursday 20th September, hopefully it will be an opportunity for us to catch up with each other again.

And of course, it is an opportunity to enjoy a well desrved pint! We meet there from about 8.00 onwards.
